Travi$ Scott on the Come Up: New Album to be Released! 1.5.2016

Travi$_Scott_2014_FebruaryThis 23 year old has been blowing up my twitter feed for months now. Everybody has heard of him. He’s an up and coming all-star in the rap game. Since being discovered by T.I. a few years ago, Travis Scott has continued to produce nothing but gold.

Scott dropped his debut mixtape called “Owl Pharoah” in May of 2013. This album featured some of the biggest artists in the industry such as T.I., 2 Chainz, Wale, Meek Mill, and more. With the help of more famous stars, Scott was able to soar to the top faster than anyone else. His early bangers such as “Upper Echelon” were what really proved his talent.

After the release of his mixtape, it wasn’t hard to see his potential. Over the next couple years he continued to drop some of the dopest tracks in the game right now. With the release of his second mixtape “Days Before Rodeo,” and his debut studio album “Rodeo,” it isn’t hard to tell that Travis Scott is on the come-up and he’s coming up fast.

The quick ascent to fame that he acquired came from hard work and passion for the music, nothing else. In an interview with Complex, Scott says “Money is something that keeps you alive and healthy and just keeps you focused. It’s the drive. It’s the passion. I’m making songs not for the money but to see motherfuckers’ reaction.” Just listening to his music, one can really tell how much emotion he puts into his work, and it has definitely payed off.

Scott has already announced the release of another album in the near future which he stated in a video clip from watchLOUD on Twitter. You can watch the video here.

With only a couple months since the drop of “Rodeo,” the anticipation for Travis Scott’s next album is through the roof. We can’t wait to see what he has in store for us next.
